For experienced potters looking for independent workspace, our studio memberships offer everything you need to get making.
Membership Options

$250/month
What does the membership include?
-25 hours per month of studio time
-25 lbs per month of reclaimed “house” clay
-Designated shelf space to store materials
-Access to tools and equipment in the studio including:
12 pottery wheels
North Star extruder with hollow dies
Slab roller and canvas mats
Banding wheels
A variety of plaster hump/slump molds and wooden forms for handbuilding
12 gorgeous dippable studio glazes, and a wide selection of commercial brush-on glazes
-Bisque and glaze firings (provided by our staff)**
-10% off all classes, private lessons, workshops, and events

Tuesday–Friday 12pm–8pm
Saturday-Sunday 11am–4pm
**Firing schedule will depend on volume of work, classes and staffing. WE CANNOT SUPPORT PRODUCTION WORK AT THIS TIME. IF YOU NEED ADDITIONAL FIRINGS, PLEASE SEE “FIRING SERVICES.”

-8 hours per month of studio time
-Designated shelf space to store materials
-Access to tools and equipment in the studio including:
11 pottery wheels
North Star extruder with assortment of dies (including hollow dies)
Shimpo slab roller and canvas mats
Banding wheels
A variety of plaster hump/slump molds and wooden forms for handbuilding
12 gorgeous dippable studio glazes, and a wide selection of commercial brush-on glazes
- ½ shelf for bisque firing and ½ shelf for glaze firings (provided by our staff)**
- Clay is not included in the Mini Membership, but may be purchased on site. Members are welcome to bring their own Cone 5/6 clay. All outside clay MUST have a purchase receipt to be verified by staff prior to use.
**New Artists, or those who have not taken a 5-week course at Shape Theory Studio, MUST complete our New Artist Orientation prior to your first studio session.

Open Studio
Our Open Studio time is perfect for anyone with prior clay experience who’s looking for a flexible, commitment-free way to work on their projects. Ideal for students needing extra practice or anyone who wants designated studio time without signing up for a full membership.
What’s Included:
Enjoy access to our studio space and basic tools to shape your vision! Open Studio gives you the freedom to work at your pace, use our wheels, and dive into your clay practice.
What’s Not Included:
Please note that clay, glazes, firings, and storage aren’t included in Open Studio time, but can be easily added at checkout to make sure you have everything you need to complete your work.
