Expect to get a little messy and have a lot of fun. We’ll guide you step-by-step, whether you’re brand new or brushing up on skills. No experience needed—just come ready to play with clay.
-
Wear something you don’t mind getting a little dirty. Clay washes out, but we recommend comfy clothes and short nails for the best experience.
Going somewhere nice after class? No problem! (We love a good Date Night 🥂) We provide aprons to help protect clothing, and also have a restroom you can change in if needed.
-
Not at all. Most of our students are beginners. We’ll walk you through everything from start to finish.
-
All materials are included: clay, tools, glazes, and firing. You just show up—we’ve got the rest covered.

It depends on the class.
Private Wheel lessons: 1-2 pieces per person.
Multi-Week Classes: 5-7 pieces per person.
Private Events: 1-2 pieces for Wheel, 1 completed project for Handbuilding
-
Your pieces will be ready for pickup in about 4-6 weeks. We’ll notify you via email when they’re ready.
PS - this may seem like a long time, but each piece needs time to dry out, be trimmed and cleaned up by our staff, fired, glazed in a color of your choice, and fired again! We promise it’s worth the wait :)
-
Pickups are by appointment only to keep things smooth and organized. You’ll receive a link to schedule once your pieces are ready.
There is no guarantee we will be open if you swing by the studio without an appointment.
-
We ask that all items be picked up within 30 days of notification. After that, pieces may be donated to our “free pottery” shelf.

We totally get that life happens—but because our classes are small and often sell out, we have the following policy:
No refunds for cancellations
Rescheduling is allowed with at least 72 hours’ notice, depending on availability
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the class are non-transferable and cannot be rescheduled
If you can’t make it, you’re welcome to send a friend in your place—just let us know ahead of time.
